A new episode of The Rainmaker is on its way, and we have a sneaky look at one of the scenes to come. It’s time for Deck to have news that will even shock Bruiser, and that’s not easy to do!
Bruiser has a potentially great case, but Rudy isn’t letting go of the fact that it’s “his.” This boy has a lot to learn when it comes to working in a law firm. While he certainly gets the credit and maybe a financial reward, the case ends up being that of the law firm’s as a whole.
However, Rudy has shown that he cares, and with the care comes the attention to detail. It’s done well for him so far, but there’s only so much lack of experience will do, just as the sneak peek from The Rainmaker season 1, episode 5 shows.
Bruiser isn’t happy with Rudy in The Rainmaker season 1, episode 5
The clip opens with Rudy and Bruiser fighting. Bruiser is telling Rudy off for being “impulsive,” and while we don’t get the full details of what he’s done, it sounds like he’s given information to Dot that could undermine the case.
Has he told Dot that her son may have been murdered by Pritcher? That is something that should have stuck with Rudy and co. for now. The police could end up taking things over, delaying everything, should they decide that there may be something more to this case.
Maybe it should be in the hands of the cops right now. Pritcher is already on trial for murder, so wouldn’t it make sense to throw this in? Plus, I don’t understand why they keep going on about him not having a record when he’s literally facing trial for the murder of his mom!
Deck has a surprising reveal
Whatever Bruiser and Rudy are arguing about, Deck stops them in their tracks. He has something that is exciting to share.
While Pritcher doesn’t have a record, someone else does. It turns out that his mom wasn’t as innocent as she’s always been made out to be in The Rainmaker.

The Rainmaker season 1, episode 5 will see everyone back in the courtroom again, but can Rudy hold back information that doesn’t need to be revealed at this point? Something tells me he’s going to be way too impulsive there, as well.
