The Rookie season 8 premiere brought us an international adventure, that certainly brought its own questions. However, there was one big question that we had. Would Chenford end up back together?
Caution: This post contains SPOILERS from The Rookie season 8 premiere.
With Monica Stevens making a deal with the FBI, there was always a chance that she would betray everyone. Sure enough, there were times that we thought she would, but in the end, the entire case worked out. With most characters back on U.S. soil, the big question at the end of the episode was all about Chenford, and we got answers.
Well, okay the two had ended up back together during season 7, but would they move in together and push their relationship forward? That's the answer we got.

Is Chenford back together on The Rookie season 8?
It took us far too long to get Chenford together, and then just as it happened, things took a turn. Bradford thought he was doing the right thing in bringing an end to their relationship, but it was clear it wasn’t. Sure enough, he started having regrets, and it was clear Lucy still had feelings for him.
By the end of The Rookie season 7, it looked like the two would end up back together. However, as Bradford asked Lucy to move in with him, she had fallen asleep on the couch. Would that be it? Would he be offended by her actions, or would he just understand that the night shift was exhausting?
It came up between Lucy and Selena during The Rookie season 8 premiere, but in the end, Lucy took a risk. She and Bradford had a talk that led to Lucy moving in with him.
Yes, Chenford is back on track and the two are living together! Nothing can bring them down now, right?
Well, we have to hope that with the two of them having the same job and Bradford learning that he needs to let Lucy in, the two can work out.

It means a new roommate relationship on The Rookie
With Lucy moving out, it meant that Selena was left with a two-bedroom apartment to herself. Lucy offered to pay her part of the rent to help out for the time being, but that won’t be an issue.
Miles had originally moved in with Smitty to get out of his car and keep his job, but things just weren’t moving out. As Smitty tried to make a deal with Miles, Selena rushed over. She didn’t even need to give her offer for rent, with Miles just desperate to get out of his current living arrangement, so now we have a new roommate situation, and we’re ready for all the fun that it will bring.
More importantly, we’re just ready for more Chenford.
The Rookie season 8 airs on Tuesdays at 10/9c on ABC.
