The Fly Team had a difficult and personal case. What happened to Vo in the FBI: International season 4 fall finale?

Caution: This post contains SPOILERS for the FBI: International season 4 fall finale.

The promo for the FBI: International season 4 fall finale told us that Vo would get shot. We just had no idea whether it would end up serious or just a bullet to the vest. After all, promos are cut in a way to make us feel the need to tune in, especially when it comes to characters’ lives potentially being on the line.

So, what happened to Vo in the end? Are we down to the last OG cast member?

Was Vo injured in the FBI: International season 4 fall finale?

The first question was whether the shot to Vo was all that life threatening or not. Was it possibly just good cutting with the promo?

Well, it turned out that Vo was seriously hit. It wasn’t from someone shooting from the car in front of her, though. It was from a shooter behind, someone helping Csonka get free. Vo being hit stopped Wes in his tracks. He couldn’t lose another person in the line of duty, so he made sure that he stopped the bleeding as much as possible and was there the whole way to the hospital.

Once at the hospital, Wes focused on getting Csonka with the rest of the Fly Team. Raines remained at the hospital, which made sense considering he has known Vo the longest.

Did Vo survive in FBI: International?

We had hoped to get some answers by the end of the episode. FBI: International has decided to leave us on a cliffhanger, and not a good one.

Wes, Smitty, and Tyler raced to the hospital when Raines called with an update on Vo. At first, Vo had seemed to do well in surgery, but she had lost a lot of blood. Raines shared that there was a mention of something going wrong and Vo going into shock.

Things weren’t looking good by the end of the episode. Of course, we don’t have confirmation that Vo won’t make it. I can guarantee that there will be uproar if the series decides to kill Vo off. She is, by far, the best character on the series. Many wanted to see her lead the Fly Team because of how great of a character she is, although there were understandable reasons why that couldn’t happen.

We’ll have to wait for the series to return to see if Vo will make it. Meanwhile, Wes and Tyler are ready to take down Csonka, and they’re not going to do it in the most legal of ways. Wes will not handle the loss of another team member in action well.

FBI: International season 4 returns on Tuesday, Jan. 28 at 9/8c on CBS. Catch up on the series so far on Paramount+.
