One show we do not want to see come to an end in 2024 is Blue Bloods. Sadly, CBS hasn’t U-turned on the decision, and tonight marks the Blue Bloods series finale.
We aren’t ready for the episode, especially based on the promo for it. There is sure to be a major death, and it looks more and more like it’s going to be Badillo. There are too many signs that are pointing to Badillo being the major casualty in the series finale.

What to expect in the Blue Bloods series finale
The final episode is a big one that is sure to see the entire Reagan family working on the same case. The gangs of New York are joining together. They each want their gang members who have been arrested and awaiting trial to be freed. This leads to someone shooting the Mayor, which is going to put everyone on high alert.
However, I don’t think it’s the Mayor’s funeral we’re seeing. I’m almost certain it’s Badillo.
"The Reagan family races to stop deadly mayhem in the city when the gangs of New York unite to demand amnesty for the release of their imprisoned members and those awaiting trial."
Will there be a Blue Bloods spin-off?
There are talks of a Blue Bloods spin-off, but at this point, nothing has been officially ordered. It won’t follow Danny Reagan, but that doesn’t rule out Eddie, Jamie, or even Joe Hill. There are many members of the Reagan family we’d love to follow in another series.
The CBS show has continued to perform well throughout its final run. We can only hope that this is a positive sign for CBS to bring us a spin-off series.
Blue Bloods is available to stream on Paramount+.
