It becomes a personal matter for Maroun in the Law & Order season 24 finale. The problem is that it could throw the entire case out.
We know that Maroun got into the work of justice because of a personal matter. Her sister was murdered, and despite law enforcement knowing the identity of the killer, charges were never filed. Well, she hasn’t stopped fighting for justice, and she may or may not get it in the new episode.
It is the season finale of the series. In some great news, we’re going into this episode knowing that there will be more to the story.

What to expect in Law & Order season 24, episode 22
We’ll get to see Maroun attempt to place the suspect in the case near the scene of the current crime. This crime involves the murder of a model, and Shaw and Riley both believe that they have the guy who did it. The problem for Price is that there’s no evidence to support this, and Maroun pushing for it could end up causing problems for the legal case.
It does sound like this is a personal matter. In the promo, there’s a mention that the suspect’s DNA was found linked to her sister’s murder. This murder has been Maroun’s entire backstory, pushing her into her career and getting her to fight hard for murder victims. However, it’s potentially causing problems in her judgment, and Price may need to take her off the case.

There’s more to come from Law & Order in season 25
There is some great news about the series. NBC has confirmed that Law & Order season 25 will happen. It does come with some changes, as the network looks for ways to trim the budget.
So far, there have been no announcements of exiting characters, but that’s something that could happen. Right now, it looks like we’ll see a reduction in the number of episodes to a season and not all characters will be in every episode again. We’ll be sure to keep an eye out for anything about this series.
