The Chicago PD season 12 finale airs tonight, and we’re still reeling from the events of the previous episode. It ended with two members of Intelligence fired, and now the rest of the team will need to work overtime to take Deputy Chief Reid down.
Yes, two of the team members are gone, and one of them has been arrested. It shouldn’t be too surprising to find out that it’s Torres and Burgess who have been fired, with Torres being the one arrested. Reid threatened all of this when the relationship with Gloria came out. Now Voight will need to find a way to protect the rest of his team and get Burgess and Torres back.

What to expect in the Chicago PD season 12 finale
With the penultimate episode ending with the firings of members of the team, now Intelligence needs to stop all operations. They are under investigation by Internal Affairs, but we all know that this is Reid’s doing. The team won’t stop at taking him down, and they’ll work off the books if they need to.
ASA Chapman isn’t all that confident in Voight’s actions. She doesn’t want him to do something that he can’t come back from, clearly not wanting him to go back into his old ways of policing. The problem is this isn’t a regular criminal he’s going after. This is Deputy Chief Reid, and he needs to do whatever it takes.
Burgess and Ruzek consider postponing their wedding with everything going on. How can they do something so happy when there’s so much turmoil against them and their friends? We know from images that they’ll get married, but does Intelligence get cleared? If so, how?
