A lot is going on in the world of Watson right now. We have questions around whether Sherlock Holmes is really alive, and then the questions about Ingrid. Well, Watson season 2, episode 3 doesn’t seem to want to focus on any of them.

The new episode is going to focus on a topic that has come up in recent years. You likely watched Good American Family, but it looks like John has not. Or if he has, he decided to believe that Natalia Grace was telling the truth and just a kid.

However, he’ll want to pay attention to that and to the TLC series I Am Shauna Rae, as the topic of adults who look like children is about to come up.

Watson season 2, episode 3 sees a 30-year-old who looks 10

The promo for the episode tells us that Watson is about to see a case that he’s never seen before. A woman walks in, but she looks like a child. We’re sure to see a conversation about where her parents are, considering she looks about 10. However, Maxine is a 30-year-old woman.

This is a real but rare condition. It’s something that I Am Shauna Rae goes into, as she’s a 22-year-old living in the body of an eight-year-old. In her case, the condition happened due to treatment she underwent for brain cancer. It stopped her ability to age, and so the people around her believe that she’s a child, when she’s anything but.

In Watson season 2, episode 3, John will likely need to get to the bottom of why Maxine has stopped growing. There isn’t much to work with on the case from the promo and synopsis, but it will certainly stand out.

Redcoat
“Redcoat” – Watson and the fellows get thrown into a perplexing case when treating a man with a bullet lodged in his head who insists he is a Scottish soldier and seems to be hiding something nefarious. Meanwhile, Watson investigates who his estranged wife Mary is dating and Ingrid wonders what her tell is when Watson calls her out for lying, on return of the CBS original series WATSON, Sunday, Feb. 16 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on

Will Ingrid be welcomed back to the team?

During the second hour of the season, we learned that Ingrid is going through therapy to help with her sociopathy. This is a big step, but I do have questions about what she wants to gain from this. It’s like someone who is diagnosed with narcissism going through therapy. Are they doing it for the right reasons, or because it gets them attention?

Ingrid wants her job back, though, but that’s not going to be too easy. As of right now, she doesn’t get to work with the team, but there is a chance that it could happen in the future.

At the same time, there are still plenty of questions about Sherlock Holmes, including whether he’s alive or just a figment of John’s imagination.

Take a look at the promo and synopsis for Watson season 2, episode 3:

Watson and the team work alongside Laila to help a patient named Maxine, a 30-year-old who looks 10.

Watson airs on Mondays at 10/9c on CBS.
