Over the course of nine episodes so far, we’ve seen how society can break when something unknown and mysterious happens. Revival gives us a look at the true horror of supernatural events: the people.

I will always say that monsters, animals, and supernatural creatures are nothing compared to humans. I will also be terrified of the way humans can act, and we see much of what’s happened in Revival in the real world, just without the supernatural elements to the story. People segregate other living people all because of differences.

Revival season 1 finale release date

Back on track, though. Revival season 1 has built up to everyone learning that Em is a Reviver. Blaine believes that Em is the reason for Revival Day, and he likely thinks that if he kills her then he will kill all other Revivers. His aim is to close what he believes have been the gates of hell opening up.

So, when will the Revival season 1 finale air? You don’t need to wait too long. It will air on Thursday, Aug. 14 at 10/9c on Syfy.

Episodes air on Peacock a week after release, so you’ll be able to stream the finale on Thursday, Aug. 21. This is a great chance to binge-watch the entire season.

What to expect in Revival season 1, episode 10

The 10th and final episode of the season is sure to give us the answers that we’ve been needing. And there are a lot of questions right now.

The first is who killed Em. Answers keep seeming to point back to Aaron, but Em doesn’t believe he did it. There was someone in an animal mask, and it wasn’t Blaine. Ramin seems to think that Em’s death was the reason for Revival Day.

Of course, if you know the graphic novels, you know how this story plays out. I think the series has done a great job of masking the truth, but that’s only if the show completely follows through with this storyline.

On top of that, there are questions about the creature that Blaine has been keeping. It seems to be the same creature that helped both Jordan and Jesse cross over, but then we had the videos of a similar creature burning Revivers to death. Is it the same being, and does it have something to do with Revivers being ready to move on?

There’s sure to be some retaliation by the General at the same time. Carla gave the Revivers the lake water, giving them their strength back after the snake venom tests and allowing them to escape. The General knows that Wayne and Dana were involved, so it’s only a matter of time before she finds them and tries to deal with them.

Revival season 1 will wrap up on Thursday, Aug. 14 at 10/9c on Syfy.
