Thursday nights are supposed to be all about Found after two hours of the Law & Order franchise. So, what’s going on tonight, Thursday, April 17?
I get why there are some people confused. NBC didn’t make a big deal about the switch of nights or that Law & Order: Organized Crime season 5 would get a linear airing. The focus for this Thursday was all about the other two Law & Order shows crossing over.
Well, Found season 2, episode 19 aired on a different night this week. It aired on Monday, and if you happened to miss it, you can catch up on Peacock. We also have a recap of the events, as this was a big one for Jamie — who yes, is definitely Margaret’s Jamie!
What’s going on with the NBC schedule tonight?
There’s a change due to Law & Order: Organized Crime. While the fifth season has moved to Peacock, NBC wants to make sure that all eyes are on the season. The best way to do that is to put the premiere on the linear channel, and NBC has decided that it should go on Thursday night in the timeslot the series used to hold.
Fans will remember that Law & Order: Organized Crime season 5 has moved to Peacock. Two episodes are now available on the streamer to watch — only one will get a linear airing — and episodes will drop weekly on Peacock every Thursday.
When will Found return, and is it coming back to Thursdays?
Don’t worry about changing your whole week for the rest of the season. While Found aired on Monday this week, it is moving back to Thursdays. However, there won't be a new episode on Thursday, April 24, with the promo making it clear that we're looking at Thursday, May 1 for the show to return.
If there are no more breaks in the season, we’re looking at the finale airing on Thursday, May 15. There are 22 episodes to the season, and there is still a lot to break down!
At the end of the previous episode, we got to see the M&A Team lay Christian to rest and visit his grave. Trent had found out that Christian had been murdered by Lena, and now there’s a manhunt out for her. Sir turned up at the grave, but not on his own. He’s been removed from prison, and while he’s handcuffed, he is clearly now connected to some bigger organization — I’m going with something like the FBI or CIA.
Meanwhile, Jamie has chosen Margaret. He’ll need to get Kerry’s whereabouts to be able to send Trent after her. That is if he doesn’t change his mind.
Found returns on Thursday, May 1 at 10/9c on NBC.
