That has certainly been the case for the last two episodes, but it looks like things are combining once more with the latest episode. While Will and Faith start with a case of their own, they’re going to be pulled in on Angie and Ormewood’s case.

The GBI is called in to help with a bank heist case. However, that bank heist case is more than just people looking for a quick cash grab. The team in animal masks are professionals, and it’s now clear why the GBI is being pulled in.
They’re after something specific in a lock box. This box is connected to a pharmaceutical company, and it looks like there are some important documents that were taken from the box. The company is going to have to share the details because this type of information could be deadly in the wrong hands.
Will seems excited about the idea of working on an elite case, but what about the case that he and Faith are supposed to be working on? Could it end up connecting to the animal mask case?
An investigation into a murder on Will Trent
The synopsis tells us that Will and Faith have a murder investigation. A high-end mogul has been killed, and it’s up to the GBI to get to the bottom of it.
As Angie and Ormewood track animal-masked thieves across a string of multimillion-dollar heists, Will and Faith investigate the murder of a high-end matchmaking mogul; Faith meets a mysterious man who is more than he seems.
It’s possible that this could connect to the other case. After all, it’s a bank heist that involves some Big Pharma documents. Is it possible that the high-end mogul is somehow connected to the pharmaceutical company? Is this linked to whatever is in the documents?
Faith has an extra storyline going on, where she meets a “mysterious man who is more than he seems.” That’s it. We have zero idea from the promo what this could be about. Faith doesn’t trust all that easily, so if this is someone she’s supposed to end up on friendly terms with, they better make him a good one from the beginning. Don’t give us too many mysteries that have us worried for her life!
