STARZ has brought a British crime drama across the ocean. Dublin Murders premieres today on the premium cable network, and you can watch it right now on the app. You’ll need to wait a little later for it to air on the channel. Here are all the details you need for Dublin Murders Season 1, Episode 1.

The show is based on Tana French’s novel Dublin Murder Squad. More specifically, it adapts the first two books in the series, In the Woods and The Likeness. It’s already aired in the UK, and now it’s time for STARZ to bring it across the ocean. If you’re in Canada, you can watch it through STARZ on Amazon Channels or Crave.

There are eight episodes to watch, with the finale set to air on Dec. 29, 2019. You’ll certainly see some familiar faces. Love/Hate‘s Killian Scott and Penny Dreadful‘s Sarah Greene take on the lead roles of Det. Rob Reilly and Det. Cassie Maddox. They’re partners investigating two murders in 2006 Ireland that seem completely unrelated to each other. However, is that really the case?

Game of Thrones‘ Conleth Hill and Vikings‘ Moe Dunford also star in the series.

Something you’ll see from the start is that Rob is struggling with the demons of his past. It’s not just a murder mystery, but a psychological character study. Rob has to deal with a murder investigation into a young girl, who turns up dead in the exact same spot that three kids went missing 20 years earlier. Only one of those kids from 20 years ago was found, and she has no memory of what happened to her.

So, you’ll certainly want to see how all eight episodes play out. You can watch right now on the STARZ app, which you can get directly or through Amazon Channels or the Hulu channel add-ons. If you watch through the STARZ channel, you’ll need to wait until tonight to watch the episode. On the app, everything drops at midnight on the day of release. On the channel, Dublin Murders will air at 8 p.m. ET and then again at 10 p.m. ET.
