The last episode certainly delivered an intense episode, mostly set in the psychiatric prison. Dr. Whitly orchestrated a situation that would force Ainsley and Malcolm to ask him for help. It’s led to Whitly being put in solitary, so there are chances we won’t see him in this episode.

However, that doesn’t mean no Michael Sheen. There is a chance we’ll see a younger version, as Malcolm continues to experiences memories of the events he’s blocked out. At the very end of Episode 7, he got a phone call from the person who shot at him in the junkyard. This person has a connection to Dr. Whitly.
The mystery surrounding the junkyard continues in “Family Friend.” After all, there are multiple bodies, all crushed to death. Malcolm knew it was somehow connected to his father and the station wagon that he’s sure was used to transport at least one body. Will he finally get some answers during this next episode?
Meanwhile, Ainsley wants to be able to report the case. She feels this need to be the first to report it, and that’s not surprising after everything that happened in the prison. She felt a connection to her father that she’s never felt before. Could she become the Prodigal Daughter? It’s looking more and more likely, and it suggests Jessica has a reason to be concerned.
