Nancy Drew Season 1, Episode 6 will see Nancy strike a deal with Horseshoe Bay’s newest widower. Here’s what to expect based on the promo and synopsis.

In the latest episode of Nancy Drew, the Drew Crew and Ryan are heading to Blackwood Lodge. Mysteries will be unveiled and answers about Ryan’s connection to Lucy Sable may be revealed.

The promo for Nancy Drew Season 1, Episode 6 gives us a few ideas of things that could happen. Of course, The CW promos tend to be cut well. They look like they give us the details and then it turns out they’ve been cut in a highly misleading way. That’s the fun of the trailer breakdowns when it comes to the network.

Before we get into the five takeaways from the promo for “The Mystery of Blackwood Lodge,” here’s a look at the clip and the synopsis for the Nov. 13 episode.

"While trying to uncover the truth about a long-buried history between Lucy Sable and Ryan Hudson, Nancy finds herself in the curious position of having to strike a deal with Horseshoe Bay’s newest widower."

From this point on, we’re getting into spoilery territory if that’s what you feel comes from promos and synopses. Otherwise, we’re just getting into some speculative juiciness for the episode.

5. Ryan doesn’t even remember Lucy Sable

More from TV Crime Dramas

At the end of the last episode, we learned that Lucy and Ryan had some sort of connection at school. Did he have something to do with her death?

Well, it doesn’t even look like he remembers her. He’s not the greatest liar from what we’ve seen, so I’m inclined to believe this statement just based on the promo. Maybe I’ll not believe it once I get to see the episode live. However, right now, it looks like he doesn’t even remember her.

So, what does Lucy want with him? Did she have a crush that was never returned and now she’s angry about that? That would be too obvious!

4. Lucy is clearly haunting Nancy

Lucy needs to get someone to solve her murder. You can’t blame a ghost for wanting that. So, it’s not all too surprising to find out Lucy is haunting the greatest private detective in town.

Nancy Drew will see the focus return on this 20-year-old mystery. Now is the time to possibly get a few answers. One thing I am impressed with is that everyone is now just happily on board that ghosts are real. Okay, seeing one of your friends possessed would do that, but I love we have no more skeptical arguments.

3. The Drew Crew is on it

Nancy isn’t alone in the case. The Drew Crew is on it.

Not all are with Nancy at the same time. George isn’t all that happy that she was possessed and now Nancy is haunted, but it looks like she’ll give her enemy-turned-sort-of-friend some sort of backing. I love how this friendship is developing.

The only member of the Drew Crew who doesn’t seem convinced is Nick. He’s not happy that Nancy is hunting a ghost. Someone might want to point out to him that Lucy isn’t going to leave Nancy alone until she solves this murder.

2. It’s time to uncover the Blackwood Lodge mysteries

The group will head to Blackwood Lodge in Nancy Drew. There’s a masquerade ball, and it looks like someone specifically wants Nancy and her friends to attend. Who will that someone be?

Could it be Lucy? What about the newest widow in Horseshoe Bay? After all, the synopsis does tell us that Nancy will need to turn to this woman for some help.

Lucy isn’t giving up. Now that she has Nancy’s attention, she’s found a way to get her murder solved.

However, is this all about murder? Is there another matter of revenge on the cards? What exactly does this ghost want to gain from all this? It’s time to find out in Nancy Drew Season 1, Episode 6.
