With the CBS midseason premieres came plenty of change to the lineup. Hawaii Five-0 is one of those changes, moving time in the new year.

The new year is certainly bringing plenty of change to CBS. New TV crime dramas are coming, shows are moving nights and timeslots, and some shows are being benched completely. Hawaii Five-0 is one of those moving timeslots.

Don’t worry, it’s still going to be a part of the strong Friday night lineup. Rather than being the first of the three dramas to air on Fridays, the show will head back to its 9 p.m. timeslot. It’s workedin the past, so there’ sno reason why it won’t work now.

This change is going to come in February. In fact, the exact date is Feb. 7, which is when MacGyver Season 4 will premiere. If you remember, MacGyver was held back from the fall lineup, making way for another reboot, Magnum PI, to take that slot after MacGyver‘s numbers started to fall during the third season.

You’ll notice that there are only three timeslots but four Friday night shows, though. Magnum PI is taking a break for the time being.

There’s no telling when Magnum PI will return just yet. MacGyver is likely to have 13 episodes, which would likely take it to a May finale. That will be when Hawaii Five-0 Season 10’s finale also airs. Magnum PI may get a night to itself in the summer.

But for fans of Hawaii Five-0, there’s only one date to pay attention to right now, and that’s Feb. 7. That’s when the time will change. However, the show will return in January in its current timeslot for a few weeks before MacGyver premieres.
