Bishop and Torres have been dancing around their feelings for each other since they worked undercover. It’s time for that to stop on NCIS Season 17.

Since working undercover together, Bishop and Torres have had this chemistry-fuelled dance on NCIS. It is clear they like each other, but they refuse to admit it.

In a way, them not admitting it is a good thing. The two work together, and workplace romances can get tricky. This is something Jimmy Palmer pointed out during the last episode, sharing that Tony and Ziva were one of a kind but that they were destined for heartbreak. Bless him on not seeing the chemistry between Bishop and Torres, though!

Yet, at the same time, NCIS seems to be pushing this ship. I’m not usually one for shipping in TV shows like NCIS, but in this case, everything the writers are doing is working. I want to see the two together.

Sure, they’re not the next Ziva and Tony. Nobody can have the chemistry that those two had, and the two just aren’t replaceable. However, that doesn’t mean I don’t want to see them together.

Bishop and Torres work extremely well together. They have each others’ backs, whether they’re undercover or not. While they love to tease each other, they’re also ready to support each other during a case. They like to have fun, but they also like to see cases through to the end.

It’s that sort of balance that works so well for a relationship.

“The Wall” — When a Marine is murdered at an event for the Honor Flight Network, a non-profit that arranges for veterans to visit the World War II, Korea and Vietnam War Memorials for free, the NCIS team must rely on an irritable Vietnam War veteran, Henry Rogers (Bruce McGill), to provide details on the victim’s whereabouts throughout the day. Also, McGee and Bishop investigate a juicy rumor about Quinn and Torres, on NCIS, Tuesday, March 28 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Pictured: Wilmer Valderrama, Emily Wickersham. At the same time, the two bring out the best in each other. Bishop encourages Torres to be more open-minded in some of the cases or she encourages him to be more focused. When it comes to Bishop’s inability to sometimes have fun, Torres helps to pull it out of her.

Now it’s time for them to let their guards down. Be open about their feelings for each other. Stop the dance that they’re doing. Eventually, the dance gets boring and is too drawn out. Please don’t let this dance get like that.
