Prodigal Son: Was the woman in the trunk connected to Eve?
There’s something not to trust about Eve on Prodigal Son. At first, it seemed like she could be a protegee, but is she connected to a victim?
Malcolm had a chance to profile Eve on Prodigal Son. Someone might have wanted to tell him that it’s not a good idea to do this “party trick” on a first date! Profiling Eve brought up some secrets of the past, including a potential link to the woman in the trunk.
During the date, Malcolm noted a split heart. Someone else has the other half, and it’s someone who Eve has lost. Is it possible that this person is actually the woman from the trunk?

I know you’re going to tell me that the woman in the trunk would have been too old, but Malcolm made a point that whoever got the other half of the heart was older than Eve. It’s possible that this was someone like a much older sister or her mother. It could have even been an aunt, just someone who Eve was close to, loved, and respected.

Whoever it was led to Eve to get into work to do with trafficking. And that led to Eve coming to New York. It would make sense for that to lead to some sort of connection with The Surgeon. At first, I thought she was a protegee, but is it possible that she’s working her way into the Whitly’s lives to get answers from Dr. Whitly about where the person she loves is.
It’s highly possible that the woman in the trunk was connected to Eve in some sort of way. I’m sure we’ll get to find out more as Jessica shows off the charm bracelet. If it’s someone Eve knows, she’ll recognize that bracelet and I don’t think she’ll be able to keep all the secrets bottled up anymore.
If not the woman in the trunk, I definitely think Eve has some sort of connection to one of Whitly’s victims. Her need to be close to someone in the Whitly family has been all too suspicious.
