NCIS Season 17, Episode 9 saw a murder live-streamed for all to see. What did it do for the ratings on Nov. 26? Here’s a look at the ups and downs.
The team was called in on a case of a murder live-streamed for all to see. Would they be able to figure out who was behind it? Well, they did, but how would the episode fare in the ratings? Here’s a look at the Nov. 26 ratings for NCIS Season 17.
“IRL” ticked up in the demo from the previous episode by 7.8%. It would see the demo rating tick back up to 1.1. While that’s certainly not a series high, it’s a respectable figure and matched The Voice and The Connors for the top spot of the night.

Meanwhile, the total audience was slightly down from the previous episode. However, when I saw slightly, I mean “slightly.” It was down by 0.6%, which is pretty much steady in the total audience. 11.055 million viewers tuned in to figure out how someone was killed live on the air.
The ratings are nothing to worry about, though. NCIS remains the top-rated show on CBS and routinely pulls in the best figures on a Tuesday night overall. Unless Mark Harmon is ready to walk away, I doubt this series is going anywhere just yet.

We’re now heading into a two-week break until the fall finale airs. However, we go into that break with some sweet storylines to remember. Gibbs was able to get a break in the case thanks to his relationship with Phineas. While his mother certainly wasn’t happy that Gibbs had broken her rule of “no screens,” she realized that everything Gibbs did was good for Phineas. The two had a talk and Gibbs is back on the call list as a babysitter when it’s necessary.
Meanwhile, McGee got a chance to see how much he’s fallen back in the tech world. He didn’t even know about the game but did spend a whole night playing it. He’s come a long way since we first met him, and it’s clear that he continually puts his family first.
