Ziva is back in NCIS Season 17, Episode 10. She needs the team’s help with the “one thing” she had left to take care of before returning to Tony and Tali. What would that “one thing” be? Get an idea with the NCIS Season 17 winter finale synopsis.

Something is going to pull the team into Ziva’s case. It’s not all that clear what that will be just yet, but Ziva certainly doesn’t want help. She makes that clear in a sneak peek for the episode from TVLine. However, it’s also clear that she doesn’t get a choice in the matter again.

Gibbs isn’t going to force himself in on the case this time. If she doesn’t want his help, then she can leave. Of course, that’s not going to happen. The anxiety attacks are getting too much, and she does share the first time those attacks happened and how they made her feel. One of the biggest problems with panic attacks is that there’s no saying when they will happen. Panic strikes whenever it wants.

So, now she’s left relying on people she didn’t want to get caught in the mess. It’s not just Gibbs that she’s turning to. Her first phone call is to Bishop, who then gets Gibbs on the case. I would love to see more between Ziva and Bishop, but I know that’s not going to be likely. The winter premiere is going to be the last episode that we know of.

Okay, so Ziva didn’t call Bishop in. It was Ziva’s former landlady, Odette. We now know that Odette was working with Ziva and called Bishop for help to gather intel. Ziva can’t face another situation that could cause a panic attack.
