Some TV crime dramas are more in danger of being canceled than others. Here’s a look at the 10 we’re most concerned about in 2020.

There are some TV crime dramas we expect to see in the 2020-2021 season. However, there are others that are most definitely on the bubble. As we get ready to close out the year, we have to be honest about our fears of shows that are likely to be canceled in 2020.

These TV crime dramas come from various networks and streaming services. I’ll share my reasons why I think they’re in danger and a final prediction of whether they will end or not. When a decision is made about fates, I’ll be sure to come back and let you know!

The list is in alphabetical order to avoid favoritism. Here are 10 TV crime dramas in danger of being canceled in 2020.

10. The Blacklist

More from TV Crime Dramas

NBC has seen mixed results with The Blacklist. At first, it was great. The ratings held steady and the show was one to watch. It lost things around the fourth season and you could tell from the dip in the ratings.

Season 6’s renewal was a surprise, but the network opted for a midseason run. That was an excellent decision and the Season 7 renewal wasn’t a surprise. What was a surprise was moving the show back to the fall. The fall doesn’t work for The Blacklist, and I get the feeling that we’ll see a cancellation this year.

Final verdict: My gut tells me this is the end.

Official decision: The Blacklist has been renewed for Season 8!

9. The Feed

Technically not a crime drama, but there is a crime drama element to this tech thriller. Now the question is whether the Amazon series will be renewed. There’s plenty of source material, but after the November release, we’re still waiting for an answer. I think that answer is going to be a cancellation.

One of the downsides for The Feed is that it’s a joint production with the UK. If just one side drops out, the other has to decide whether to take on the full production. Was the viewership strong enough to justify keeping the show going?

Final verdict: We’d have heard by now if it was renewed. I think The Feed is canceled.
