Criminal Minds seems to have a case of an UnSub choosing random victims. Is that possible? Here’s a look at the Criminal Minds Season 15, Episode 3 synopsis

Criminal Minds kicked off its final season with a bang and some major twists. With The Chameleon currently out in the wind, the team will need to work the individual cases they get. And the one in Criminal Minds Season 15, Episode 3 seems to go against everything we’ve been told over the years.

The UnSub seems to be picking his victim at random. Is that really the case? I mean, this is a show that always tells us the victims follow a certain pattern; that the UnSubs have someone in mind. There’s usually a link between everyone, so I get the sense that the link is going to be something other than the physical and the team will need to figure out what that is.

More from TV Crime Dramas

What is clear is that the UnSub has a clear MO when it comes to killing. He doesn’t want the victims to die right away. He wants them to suffer before dying. That’s got to link to who the victims are, right?

And then there’s the fact that the killings are done through explosions. It’s not surprising to find out that Luke ends up with a bomb in a package. Is this at BAU headquarters or are they at one of the police stations? And will they get the bomb squad in the place in time.

With it being the final season, anything is possible. We could end up saying goodbye to one of our cast members before the final episode. During the premiere, it looked like it could have been JJ, but could it be Luke?
