Not sure what’s on and what’s not? Don’t get overwhelmed in the search for TV crime dramas to watch this week. Here are our top picks.

There’s a lot going on this week when it comes to TV crime dramas. New episodes of current shows are airing, some shows are taking a break, and there are some returning shows. So, what do you watch and what do you skip?

We’re trying to make it easy. If there are just a few hours in the week where you have time to watch live, these are the top picks for Jan. 20 to 26.

Prodigal Son Season 1’s midseason return

More from TV Crime Dramas

Let’s start with an episode tonight. FOX’s Prodigal Son returns with its midseason premiere, and it’s finally time for a few answers. The Junkyard Killer kidnapped Malcolm and killed a cop with the help of his grandmother. The problem is Gil and the team had no idea where Malcolm was heading that night.

Now it’s up to the NYPD, FBI, and Malcolm’s family to figure out where the Junkyard Killer may have taken Malcolm. It’s much easier said than done!

Dead Lucky

If you’re looking for an Australia crime drama, Acorn TV has you covered. The entire first season of Dead Lucky is available right now. The episodes dropped on Jan. 20, bringing you the story of Grace Gibbs, a police officer obsessed with catching whoever murdered her junior officer. Now she has to train new officer Charlie Fung, who is still dealing with the loss of his best friend.

This is certainly a binge-watch, making it the perfect week to watch. After all, the likes of Hawaii Five-0NCIS: Los Angeles, and Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector are off this week.

FBI Season 1: Most Wanted

If you’re enjoying FBI: Most Wanted but feel you need to get to know the characters a little better, you’re in luck this week. One of the TV crime dramas on our list is a rerun of an FBI Season 1 episode. It’s the backdoor pilot for Most Wanted.

You’ll get to meet Jesse LaCroix and his team to get to know their quirks. Whether you watched it the first time or you happened to miss the backdoor pilot, it’s worth checking out on Saturday night. Plus, it gives you something to watch this weekend!
