Is a new episode of NCIS on tonight, Feb. 4?

We’ve had a few episodes of NCIS Season 17 since its return from winter break, but what about this week? Will there be a new episode on tonight, Feb. 4?

It feels like we only just got back into the swing of new episodes of NCIS Season 17 and there’s another break. Sadly, there isn’t a new episode of the series tonight, Feb. 4, but there is some good news that comes with that.

There is at least a rerun of the procedural. Ziva fans, rejoice because we get the episode that showcases her return to the series. After the surprising reveal at the end of the Season 16 finale, we pick up with “Out of the Darkness” to find out why Ziva is back and why Gibbs is now in trouble.

This is a great episode to watch during the one-week break. And that’s all it is, a one-week break. Its mostly because the State of the Union 2020 will air from 9 p.m. on CBS, which means FBI and FBI: Most Wanted will need to take a week off. It makes more sense to keep all Tuesday night crime dramas on the same page when it comes to weekly episode numbers for the May finale dates.

NCIS will return with a Valentine-themed episode on Feb. 11. Titled “Lonely Hearts,” Jack will have a secret admirer. We know that there’s something between Gibbs and Jack, but is it Gibbs who will be the one who is sending her things? Probably not, and that suggests that there could be something more serious behind this secret admirer.

Meanwhile, look out for online dating sites. Gibbs’ friend meets a woman on one and she becomes the lead suspect in a murder. Uh oh!
