When is SWAT Season 3 back with all-new episodes?

It’s been a long break without new episodes of SWAT Season 3. It was like we’d only just got the show back to lose it. When will new episodes return?

We’d just got SWAT Season 3 back from winter break and we lost it again. After three episodes, the show went on an extended break, and naturally, you need to know when it will return. We have an official return date for the police procedural.

It’s the Criminal Minds series finale tonight, so I know many of you will assume SWAT Season 3 will be back next week. That is sadly not the case. Instead, SEAL Team will get a two-hour episode to bring the show back after its own winter break. The military drama went on an extended break after its winter finale for the Criminal Minds final season.

That means we’re waiting an extra week. SWAT Season 3 will return on Mar. 4, 2020, with an episode titled “Animus.”

This is going to be an important episode for Luca fans. There’s a homicide investigation in his own neighborhood. It will start to feel personal for him as he needs to keep the people he knows safe. At the same time, the entire team will need to work together to find a link between the victims of a new lone gunman. Maybe they need the BAU on hand.

As for Hondo, he reaches a new juncture with Nichelle. Is this a good thing or bad thing? He certainly seems to want to settle down but will something stop him from taking that leap?

The great news is that this should be the last break. The month off will allow the production to film all final episodes in time for the May finale, whenever that date is set.
