Right now, she’s finding out alone. We don’t know if her husband will walk in on her afterward, but for now, she finds out and she has time to think. That gives her options as to what she’s going to do next.
Will she realize he’s the Bone Collector?

The first thing to consider is whether she realizes that her husband is the Bone Collector or whether she’s going to think that he’s some other serial killer. That could affect her next moves.
If she realizes that he’s the Bone Collector, she’ll know what he’s done from news reports. She’ll also know that there’s someone out there after him, so will have the option to turn to a familiar face she’s seen on TV. She’ll also know there’s a whole team working with Lincoln Rhyme, so that could help her feel safe.
If she doesn’t realize that he’s the Bone Collector, she may question who she’s supposed to turn to. Should she go to her local police station? Is there a specific task force? If it was me, I’d just head down to the local police station and then ask for some protection, but there’s something to consider here.

Could she want to protect her husband?
Personally, the last thing I’d do is confront a man who turned out to be a serial killer. Even if he was my husband, I wouldn’t let the guy know that I knew his secret. I’d get out of dodge immediately with the evidence and let the police know, asking for protection.
But this is a woman who has been devoted to her husband for so many years. She loves him, and we know what TV crime dramas can be like.
There’s a chance that she won’t turn to the police at all. She’ll put the evidence away and try to figure out how to protect her husband. Will she tell him outright that she knows or just try to skirt around the issue? Will she hold onto the info for a while until he figures out that she knows the secret?
This would be extremely dangerous for her. We know the Bone Collector is willing to kill to protect his secret. His own wife would likely become the next victim.
There’s only one option for her
If she’s smart enough, there’s only one option for her. She needs to turn to Lincoln Rhyme and the team. Or she at least needs to head to the police to be able to turn to Lincoln’s team. She needs to make sure the evidence is given to someone.
Yes, it would destroy her marriage but, well, the Bone Collector has done that by being a serial killer. She shouldn’t worry about that part and just focus on her own life.
As it’s TV, I don’t think she will do the sensible thing, but you never know. Writers could surprise us!
The only thing that I could understand stopping her is if she had to quickly put everything back because her husband returned early. Then she’d need time to get out of the house without giving anything away that she knew.
