This week is slightly different to normal. You’re going to want to tune into Chicago Fire in the hour before PD. We have a two-hour crossover with the two stories, and everything kicks off in Fire. While for the most part it is a Fire storyline, we’ll see Roman introduced and the Intelligence Unit steps in to help with the situation.

They’re all dealing with someone who is responsible for multiple overdoses. The case ends up connected to Roman’s sister, who is missing. See, it’s a personal case for him, and he’s not going to rest until he gets the answers that he needs. However, it’s not going to be easy working with Intelligence when there’s so much that happened when he worked with the team.
On top of that, the investigation into the overdoses turns into a homicide investigation during the second hour. Intelligence will need to find out who has killed the drug dealer. Sure, it’s one less dealer on the streets but is it right to take vigilante justice?
What’s going to be interesting is seeing how the team will react to Roman being back. More specifically, how will Burgess react? She’s been to hell and back during recent episodes and her mind won’t be purely focused on the case right now. We may start to see her unraveling as she deals with the loss of her unborn baby.
