Which TV crime dramas should you watch this week? SWAT and Deputy lead our picks for the week of March 10 to March 15, 2020.

With so many TV crime dramas on the air, which ones should you watch and which ones can you skip? Our weekly watchlist will tell you which crime dramas are worth your time this week.

The week of March 10 is back to business as usual in the genre, after a few weeks of some of the most popular crime dramas being preempted or sent into reruns. That only means more choices for fans, so we’re here to help you narrow things down.

Here’s what to watch in TV crime dramas this week, along with previews where available:

FBI returns with a choice for Maggie

FBI took a brief break for CBS, but the show is coming back with a potential doozy in “Broken Promises.” The episode’s subplot teases that Special Agent Maggie Bell (Missy Peregrym) will have to make a big decision about her future. So what is her choice, and what are her options?

We’ve already seen one potential shakeup this season when the show made us fear that it had killed off Kristen Chazal (Ebonee Noel), so it wouldn’t pull another big switch with Maggie, would it?

Plus, keep your eyes open for Frozen: The Broadway Musical‘s Jelani Alladin, who guest stars in the role of Alex Bryant.

SWAT has a great guest cast

Speaking of guest stars, the latest episode of SWAT has lined up a few names that will be fun for TV crime drama fans. Actor and comedian Bill Bellamy plays a fight promoter in the aptly titled “Knockout,” which sees the team looking for the kidnapped wife of a boxer. Former boxer and TV personality Laila Ali guest-stars as herself, while Bailey Chase (Longmire) plays a character named Owen Bennett.

Louis Ferreira (Motive) and Obba Babatunde reprise their recurring roles as Buck Spivey and Hondo’s dad Daniel Harrelson Sr. respectively. So pretty much anywhere you turn during this episode, you’ll see someone you recognize from another TV crime drama.

Deputy crashes the police station

So many TV crime dramas do the episode where the bad guys get into the good guys’ office, and that’s what Deputy is doing this week. In “10-8 Paperwork,” the FOX drama brings trouble home for the main characters. Will the sheriff’s office end up wrecked by the end of the hour?

Plus, it must be a week for contemplation because the network is teasing that Bill (Stephen Dorff) comes to “a big realization” about being the L.A. County Sheriff. And Jamie Ray Newman (Mind Games, Mental) guest stars as District Attorney Carol Riley.
