Which TV crime dramas should you watch this week? FBI: Most Wanted and Live Rescue lead our picks for the week of March 16 to March 22, 2020.

With so many TV crime dramas on the air, which ones should you watch and which ones can you skip? Our weekly watchlist will tell you which crime dramas are worth your time this week.

The week of March 16 comes with a lot of uncertainty given the various production shutdowns and the ordinary delays that were already scheduled to happen in mid-March. But don’t fret, there is still plenty out there to keep crime drama fans entertained.

Here’s what to watch in TV crime dramas this week, along with previews where available:

More from TV Crime Dramas

Live Rescue season finale

The Live PD spinoff Live Rescue airs its season finale tonight (A&E, 9:00 p.m. ET/PT). Given current events, it ought to be worth a watch for true crime fans, who will see how first responders are dealing with the situations that we’re all facing at the moment—on top of their normal calls for assistance.

Though the show focuses primarily on paramedics and firefighters, police commonly pop up depending on the call, and these will be circumstances that you wouldn’t otherwise see on this show or any other. Much like Live Rescue‘s coverage of the California wildfires, this episode has the chance to be an eye-opener.

FBI: Most Wanted continues

While FBI is in repeats this Tuesday, its own spin-off FBI: Most Wanted is not. In “Predator” (CBS, 10:00 p.m. ET/PT), the fugitive squad hunts for a modern-day Bonnie and Clyde who are killing people rather than robbing banks.

Given that both of its lead-ins are not new, it would be easy for TV crime drama fans to assume that Most Wanted is also off this week. But that’s not the case at all, and it sounds like this week’s episode could be a particularly dark one, too. We’ll have to see if the viewership numbers change because of the repeats in front of it.

More backstory clues on Stumptown

Stumptown has been quietly flying under the radar over on ABC, where it gained a full-season pick-up despite soft live ratings. This week’s episode “The Dex Files” (Wednesday, 10:00 p.m. ET/PT) continues to reveal more of Dex’s (Cobie Smulders) past, as there might have been some kind of cover-up regarding her former lover’s unit in Afghanistan.

That’s probably not a big shocker to TV crime drama buffs, who are used to cover-ups and plot twists, but it could drop a few more big hints for fans of the series. After staying fairly light all season, it seems Stumptown is taking on a more serious tone and finally on the way to resolving the ongoing mystery it started with.
