FBI and FBI: Most Wanted crossover
This week is the first official crossover for FBI and its spinoff FBI: Most Wanted, as the CBS shows haven’t joined forces since the spinoff was introduced as a backdoor pilot last season.
The two episodes will air back-to-back, starting with “American Dreams” (Tuesday at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT), where the original FBI team searches for a missing bus full of endangered schoolchildren. Then in “Reveille” (10:00 p.m. ET/PT), they discover that the case has a connection to Jess LaCroix (Julian McMahon), bringing two hit TV crime dramas together in one two-hour case.
Most of the cast of each show will cross over to the other series, too, so you don’t have to worry about your favorite character getting left out of the crossover.
Hawaii Five-0‘s penultimate episode
There are just two episodes left of Hawaii Five-0, and one of them airs this week (Friday at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT). This week’s episode is called “A ‘ohe ia e loa’a aku, he ulua kapapa no ka moana” and involves Steve McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin) getting a postmortem letter from his dead mother Doris (a presumably unseen Christine Lahti). Steve sets off to solve the mystery that his mom has left behind.
But there are other draws here for viewers of TV crime dramas. Lance Gross, who previously was on MacGyver, appears here in a guest-starring role. And the toughest crime fighter of them all, one Chuck Norris, also gets involved as someone who’s helping Gross’s character. Presumably, there has to be some kind of cool Chuck Norris fight scene somewhere in this episode.
