There’s an arsonist targeting FBI safe houses. Here’s what to expect on NCIS: LA Season 11, Episode 20 based on the synopsis

NCIS: LA Season 11, Episode 20 involves an arsonist who is targeting an FBI safe house. Something seems off about the whole case. Here’s a look at the synopsis for the Apr. 12 episode to get an idea of what to expect.

The synopsis for “Knock Down” is clear. The team is called in to help the Department of Justice with an investigation. An FBI safe house is set on fire, and this wasn’t an accident. Someone didn’t just want to cause trouble for firefighters but wanted to kill whoever was inside that safe house.

And who was it? The synopsis tells us that it was a political activist seeking asylum. It looks like NCIS may think that the FBI is involved when the FBI clearly wants to keep the team at bay. Callen says in the promo for the episode that something doesn’t feel right.

While the team deals with the case of the week, Eric is left on his own back at base. He needs to deal with the aftermath of Nell leaving the job.

Right now, Nell is technically on vacation. Fans will remember at the end of the last episode, Hetty told Nell to use vacation days. If Nell didn’t want to come back after that, then Hetty would accept Nell’s resignation. Is the synopsis a hint that Nell is leaving the team permanently?
