Top 5 TV crime dramas to watch from June 15 to 19

It’s a new week, which means you’re looking for something new to watch on TV. There are some excellent TV crime dramas, whether you’re looking for new episodes of scripted shows or something based on true crime.

Of course, there are still plenty of great reruns. CBS has a bunch of NCISSWAT, and FBI reruns throughout the week. Meanwhile, you can turn to ION, ID, and more for reruns of Criminal MindsChicago PD, and other favorites.

But what about new content? What about the fresh content of the week? Here are the top TV crime dramas to check out.

Hidden Season 2

We’ll start with the binge-watch that starts at the beginning of the week. All episodes of Hidden Season 2 are now available to stream on Acorn TV. Unlike other shows, you can binge-watch the entire season of the Welsh drama, and you won’t regret it.

When a retired school teacher turns up dead, it’s clear that this was at the hands of multiple attackers. Four sets of prints are isolated, but will the killers be brought to justice?

The Bureau Season 5

Sundance Now subscribers will be happy to know that Liar and Bad Mothers continue, but there’s another TV crime drama joining. The Bureau Season 5 premieres on Thursday. It’ll be released weekly like other shows.

The first episode picks up eight months after Malotru’s alleged death at the hands of the Russian separatists. However, an article suggests the CIA murdered him with DGSE’s consent. It leads to a question of who to trust, but then, what else is new?

Betrayed Season 4, Episode 8

The next three on the list are all true crime additions. They’re single episodes that you can watch at various points throughout the week, and we start with Betrayed Season 4, Episode 8.

Cancer therapist Julie Bowling is killed while her husband is out of town. Police need to figure out who killed her, and it means looking deep into the family’s shaky finances and a secret life her husband was living.

The episode airs tonight at 9/8c on ID.

Dead Reckoning Season 1, Episode 4

Tom Bragg was a beloved member of the community, which makes everyone question who could possibly want him dead. But what if someone isn’t as they seem on the surface?

That was certainly the case here. The more detectives investigate, the more secrets they find. The husband and father wasn’t the kind man he seemed to be. The question remains: who did want him dead?

Dead Reckoning airs on Thursday at 9/8c on ID.

Serial Psyche Season 1, Episode 2

Criminal Minds gave us a fictionalized look into the minds of killers. That’s something Prodigal Son is continuing. But what about the true crime element of it? That’s something Serial Psyche is able to delve into.

During Episode 2, we look into the mind of Israel Keyes, labeled as America’s most meticulous serial killer. While some serial killers are driven by hate, others want revenge or just love to kill. What drove Keyes to do his dirty work?

Serial Psyche airs on Friday at 8/7c on Reelz.
