Absentia Season 3
Yesterday saw the release of Absentia Season 3. You can now stream all 10 episodes on Amazon Prime Video. It’s certainly worth the binge-watch this weekend.
The season picks up months after the second season finale. Emily is just days away from her FBI suspension ending, but an international crime organization threatens to destroy it all. She also needs to figure out whether she even wants to go back.

The first two episodes of The Nest dropped on Acorn TV at the start of the week. If you haven’t had the chance to watch it yet, you’ll want to spend the weekend checking it out.
The series certainly initially sounds like Lifetime movie, but it’s far better. Well-written and deeply thought out, the series follows a couple trying everything to have a baby. Just as they think it’s never going to happen, a young pregnant girl shows up. The question is whether all this was just by chance or there’s something more sinister going on.
The Alienist: Angel of Darkness Episodes 1-2
Do you love period TV crime dramas? What about The Alienist? The second season (billed as a sequel) premieres on TNT on Sunday night.
Sara now owns a detective agency, and she’s the one that is called in on a case. A Spanish Consular’s infant daughter is taken and Sara is willing to do whatever it takes to solve the case before its too late. She turns to Dr. Kreizler and John Moore to help once again, along with a few more familiar faces.

The Genetic Detective Season 1, Episode 2
Next up is one of the true crime TV crime dramas to watch. This time it’s Hunt for the Railway Killer, the second episode of the new The Genetic Detective.
During the episode, Cece Moore helps to crack a cold case from 1998. Mother and daughter Sherri and Megan Scherer were murdered but the case has never been solved. What information does Cece have that will help?
The Secrets She Keeps
Finally, you’ll want to turn to Sundance Now. It’s time for a new thriller, The Secrets She Keeps.
Two pregnant women from different lives strike up an unlikely friendship. However, both women are keeping secrets with pasts that will slowly unravel. Is anyone safe?
