Wild Bill is just one of the TV crime dramas to watch this week

We’re into a new week. In fact, we’re into the first full week of a new month. That means some new TV crime dramas are heading out way.

While some of the releases on streaming services are happening toward the end of the month, there are some excellent shows to check out this week. We also have a new release on broadcast now that Bulletproof Season 2 has come to an end.

Here are the five TV crime dramas to watch this week.

Wild Bill

Starting with a streaming service, Wild Bill is released on BritBox this week. The first episode is available, with other episodes released on a weekly basis on Tuesdays.

Rob Lowe stars as a U.S. cop who moves to the UK with his daughter. As he shakes things up at his new precinct, his whole life ends up overturned. It’s going to be fun to see cultures collide.

The first episode of Wild Bill is available on Tuesday, Aug. 4 on BritBox.

Your Worst Nightmare

More from TV Crime Dramas

If you’re interested in true crime, you’ll want to start your week with ID. Your Worst Nightmare airs “Never Saw It Coming,” which focuses on 30-year-old Tammie Craycraft Smith. Recently divorced, she picks up a waitressing job just to make ends meet and it leads to love.

However, this is true crime. We know these relationships don’t work out. It shouldn’t be surprising that it leads to rage, jealousy, and murder. The episode delves into the events.

Your Worst Nightmare airs on Monday, Aug. 3 at 10/9c on ID.

The Nest

Turn to Acorn TV this week with The Nest. The final two episodes of the season are out on Monday. You can also binge-watch the other episodes, so you get the full story in one week.

The series has followed a couple who turn to a surrogate in the hope of starting a family. That surrogate didn’t just come across them by chance, though. Will the couple get the family of their dreams in the end?

The Nest Episodes 5 and 6 air on Monday, Aug. 3 on Acorn TV.

The Secrets She Keeps

Another streaming service continues its weekly episodes of one of its TV crime dramas. Australian drama The Secrets She Keeps is at the halfway mark.

Agatha and Hayden look to start their own family, but things are rocked when a person from her past shows up. How far will Agatha go to keep “her” baby?

The Secrets She Keeps continues on Thursday, Aug. 6 on Sundance Now.

Coroner

The CW has the new TV crime drama to check out. The Canadian drama Coroner premieres this week in place of Bulletproof. It follows Jenny, a recently widowed medical examiner.

She has a connection to death, and she wants to make sure all those mysterious deaths are solved. The problem is she also has to work on her own mental health and protect her son.

Coroner premieres on Wednesday, Aug. 5 at 9/8c on The CW.
