Don’t miss the NCIS: Los Angeles Season 12 premiere live on CBS tonight

After a longer-than-normal wait, our favorite TV crime dramas are returning. NCIS: Los Angeles is the first, with Season 12 premiering on CBS tonight. You’re not going to want to miss out on the all-new episode live.

The NCIS: Los Angeles Season 12 premiere will see all of our favorite characters return, including Hetty. The show filmed on Linda Hunt’s driveway to make it COVID-safe for her and make sure the head of the team was included. We can’t have a premiere without Hetty, right?

Nell is also back. She’s the only dealing with some of the behind-the-scenes problems so Callen and Sam can head out on the problem at hand.

What’s going to happen on the NCIS: Los Angeles Season 12 premiere?

The first episode of the season is a big one. A Russian plane carrying missiles goes missing while over U.S. soil. There’s a chance that the U.S. shot the plane down, which would mean Russia will view it as an act of war. Let’s hope that this isn’t what’s happened!

Sam and Callen head out to the desert to find the bomber. Not only will they need to figure out what happened, but they’ll also need to secure the weapons and prevent the Russians from destroying all intel onboard. Hmm, why does the plane have intel that would need to be destroyed before the Americans get to it?

Kensi and Deeks will find out everything they can in their own way. They have contacts but it could mean drinking the bar dry.

Nell is back, but it’s not clear how long for. The last we saw of Nell, she decided it was time to quit NCIS. While Hetty didn’t stop her completely, she did tell Nell to think things through a little more. Nell is using her vacation time to think that, but have we lost her forever?

Hetty seems to have a plan up her sleeve, which involves calling Nell in to “help.”
