Will Hondo do as requested on SWAT Season 4, Episode 5?

After taking a week off, SWAT is back. There’s a request Hondo isn’t sure he’s happy about doing on SWAT Season 4, Episode 5. Here’s how to watch the episode live.

The LAPD is trying to improve relations with the Black members of the community. It’s something that is a long time coming, but is the LAPD doing it right? Will it stick this time?

More from SWAT News

When asked to be the face of the new program, Hondo isn’t sure. What’s so different this time? That’s something he’s most concerned about, especially after the words his father said during the premiere episode. Nothing has changed every time there are protests in the streets. Nothing is fixed when the Black community rises up, and it just leads to the community becoming more disenfranchised and angry.

Hondo wants to see change, but he wants to see permanent change. And there’s nothing wrong with him fighting for that.

Meanwhile, the team deals with a bomber on SWAT Season 4, Episode 5

While Hondo has that storyline, he’ll need to lead his team in a case involving a bomber. This is a lone bomber, which suggests there’s something personal about the topic.

The show has handled these types of episodes brilliantly in the past. I’ll always remember the high school shooting episode from the second season. There’s always one episode like that that stands out each season. Will this be the episode of SWAT Season 4?

It’s going to be personal for one of the team members. Tan thinks back to a childhood memory because of this episode. It’s always good to get to know more about the characters that aren’t Hondo and Deacon (two who get the most attention), so I’m looking forward to this.
