While it’s sad to see our shows go on a break, at least SWAT has been able to get six strong episodes in before the break. Other shows are going on breaks after just airing between two and four episodes in the majority of cases.

There are a lot of hopes for the characters in the new year. We especially hope to see that Luca is back with the team in the States and not still stuck in Germany. However, before we start jumping ahead, we need to look at what is going on during SWAT Season 4, Episode 6.

The episode sees Darryl get into some trouble, which concerns Hondo. This young man was angry and disenfranchised when he came to live with Hondo. Over the last three years, we’ve seen him shaped into the young man that he is now. He’s kind, grateful, and driven.

Now his dad is back in his life, a dad who sees college as a waste of time. Hondo feared that Leroy would undo a lot of the work he did, and we just knew it was going to happen. Hopefully, Hondo can do something to get Darryl back on the right track as soon as possible.

While all that goes on, Chris needs the team’s help. There’s a young girl at the risk of a religious leader, who is using his church for illicit gain. She needs to get this girl out before it’s too late.

I get the feeling Hondo’s story with Darryl is going to have some crossover with the storyline of this young girl Chris wants to save.

For those who want something a little lighter in the episode, we can rely on Tan for that. He’s planning his wedding, but those plans hit some sort of snag. What sort of snag could that be? Is it pandemic related?
