Law & Order: SVU preview: Which detectives have personal ties to a dangerous case?
Law & Order: SVU is back with a big episode that puts its two newest cops in danger. You won’t want to miss it.
After a few weeks away, Law & Order: SVU returned with new episodes on Thursday, March 23 with a bizarre case of a woman assaulted after using a dating app. The case took a wild turn as the attacker was the woman’s female best friend, leading to an odd trial that put Carisi in a tight spot as the attacker barely got any punishment.
Meanwhile, Velasco was absent trying to track down the former friend responsible for killing a man in Mexico. This had Benson hiring Brooklyn cop Tonie Churlish (Katriona Tamin) as a replacement, which threw Muncy off.
This is going to play into this week’s exciting episode, as both cops are put right in the middle of a hard case.

“Lime Chaser” has the team tracking who is drugging women at bars. Muncy is startled to find one suspect is her own brother and wants to protect him. The promo shows Churlish trying to find the perp, only to end up becoming one of his victims.
It’s likely Muncy might mess things up trying to help her brother out, which could add to Churlish’s danger. It also promises to shine some light on Muncy’s difficult past.
With two cops fouling things up, this will be a tough case for Benson to save her detectives while also catching a dangerous perp.
