True Lies has a new episode this week, Wednesday, April 5, where the Taskers’ mission is complicated by having to keep their family safe at the same time.

The adaptation of the 1994 James Cameron movie has been upping the game as Harry and Helen Tasker are adjusting to working together as spies while balancing their family life. Things came up in the last episode when the pair had problems with their teenage daughter Dana. Harry wanted to play the disciplinarian, while Helen wanted to negotiate with her.

This played into the episode’s plot when the team had to stop a computer hacker who stole missile codes, which could start a war between Israel and Syria. To their shock, the hacker was a teenager, with Harry and Helen finding their parenting tactics wasted on him.

They were hunted by mercenaries hired by the hacker’s “friends” who wanted the code for themselves. After saving him, the kid was offered a job by Omega Sector as Harry and Helen got a bit more perspective in not policing Dana but trying to understand her.

That family dynamic will play a major role in this week’s episode.

Check out a preview and synopsis for True Lies Season 1, Episode 6

“Working Vacation” has the entire Tasker family heading to a Mexico resort for the annual retreat for Harry’s computer company. Helen now knows this has always been a cover for Harry’s secret spy work and is now part of it.

Things get complicated when an assassin tries to take out the entire retreat, forcing Harry and Helen into the jungle. However, they’re worried about their kids as they try to keep their secret.

The family drama mixed with the thrills should make this another exciting episode of True Lies for fans.

"“The entire Tasker family takes a trip to Mexico for Harry’s annual computer sales family retreat, which Helen learns has been an ongoing cover for his real job as a spy. The simple mission goes awry when a notorious spy hunter threatens to take out the entire computer sales retreat to capture Omega Sector spies while Dana and Jake are missing.”"
