FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 will not premiere on CBS in June 2023
We are ready to see what’s next for the Fugitive Task Force. When will that be possible? When will FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 premiere?
Unlike FBI: International, Most Wanted wrapped up its recent season with closure. Remy found out who really killed his brother, although it was too late to apologize for the last 25 years. He also learned there is another family member out there in the world.
Now eyes are on what’s in store for all the characters in the new season. CBS renewed FBI: Most Wanted for two seasons back in May 2022, and we’ll be getting that second of the two seasons very soon. The bad news is that it’s not happening just yet.
When will FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 premiere on CBS?
It’s not surprising that the show won’t air new episodes just yet. Network TV takes a dive when it comes to the live ratings in the summer. People want to be outside. So, it’s time for the summer schedule, although that will include some reruns of our favorite Dick Wolf shows.
What about the premiere, though? The good news is FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 will remain in the fall schedule and end Tuesday nights of FBI drama. The bad news is fall may not be as early as we’re used to. Usually, we would say that the shows would return in September, but there is a lot against that this year.
The writers strike continues and the actors may strike next month. This is all going to push back production at this point. It means fall is likely to be made up of a lot of unscripted programming, with most of the scripted shows not returning until January 2024. ABC has already planned for that, and it looks like CBS and NBC will need to change tactics very soon.
FBI: Most Wanted Season 4 is available to stream on Paramount+.
