NCIS fans have been eagerly awaiting more news about NCIS: Tony & Ziva. The series, which will consist of 10 episodes, will follow Tony and Ziva and their teen daughter, Tali. Ziva and Tony are raising Tali in Paris when the couple's past comes back to haunt them. After someone attacks Tony's security company, the couple must go on the run, racing across Europe.

According to Variety, actress Isla Gie will play the role of 12-year-old Tali. Raising a teenager is hard enough, but navigating going on the run, too? The rest of the cast has also been announced, with everyone from Tony's chief technical officer to Tali's caretaker and even a caring therapist in the mix. Having a strong supporting cast is a definite plus.

Of course, NCIS fans want a reunion between Tony, Ziva, and some other cast members. Naturally, Gibbs and McGee are the most logical, fan-favorite choices. However, several other characters could fit quite nicely in Tiva's new storyline.

Which NCIS characters would we like to see in NCIS: Tony and Ziva?

I know that Pauley Perrette vowed never to return to NCIS and her role as genius forensic scientist Abby Sciuto. The reason? She had issues with Mark Harmon, who played Gibbs. Pauley departed voluntarily after Season 15. Still, Abby had a close relationship with both Tony and Ziva.

Abby left to escort Agent Reeves's body back to England. Once there, she planned to begin a charity in his honor. So, could Abby make a brief cameo, somehow helping Tony and Ziva? After all, Mark Harmon isn't part of this Paramount+ project. It would be amazing to see Abby again if it was something that Pauley felt comfortable participating in.

Of course, seeing current medical examiner Dr. Jimmy Palmer appear on NCIS: Tony & Ziva would also be incredible. During Ducky's memorial service, Tony made a brief cameo at the end. It was a touching moment between two old friends as they reminisced and prepared to bid farewell to someone important in their lives. Tony was there to support Jimmy, so seeing him take on a guest starring role on the new series would be fun and nostalgic.

Should Ellie Bishop guest star on NCIS: Tony & Ziva?

Finally, Ellie Bishop could be the one person in the original NCIS universe who is most likely to appear on the series, given her history. When Ziva returned to help NCIS during Season 17 after faking her own death, it was to help Gibbs and the team take down someone who was trying to kill her. Through Ziva, Bishop met CIA agent Odette Malone.

Later, Malone recruited Bishop for an undercover CIA assignment. So, it wouldn't be shocking if Tony and Ziva turned to Bishop for intel. Seeing Bishop again and her dynamic with her former associates would be epic! My fingers are crossed that we see at least one of these characters on NCIS: Tony & Ziva.

NCIS airs on Mondays at 9/8c on CBS.
