There are actually two dates to put in your diary. The FBI: International series finale is going to be two episodes, and those episodes are split over the course of two weeks. This is because the other two FBI shows are ending their current seasons at the same time as International, so a two-hour farewell on one night wasn’t possible.
When will the FBI: International season 4 finale air?
Originally, this was just going to be the FBI: International season 4 finale. Then CBS made the shocking decision to cancel the Europe-based series, giving the writers a bit of time to transform the season finale into a series finale. Whether it works or not isn’t known, and we’ll have to wait and see.
The first hour of the series finale will air on Tuesday, May 13. Then the finale itself will air on Tuesday, May 20, with the other two FBI shows also wrapping their current seasons on the same night.
What to expect in the two-part FBI: International series finale
The first episode will start off a case that finally makes good of the Fly Team name. The case starts with a murder of a college student in Budapest. This American student happens to be a sex worker as well, and there are many similarities to a case in Japan. So, it’s wheels up to Japan to finish up the case.
They discover that it is in fact a serial killer in the second hour of the episode. This is sure to be a dangerous final case for the team.
What’s going to be interesting is how the series ends. Will it involve the Fly Team being broken apart? Will Vo finally get to take over the lead? Or will we see some of them go off to this team that is going to work with the CIA?
