Tuesday nights are FBI night. What’s happening with the CBS schedule tonight, Tuesday, Jan. 21? There is some bad news, but it does mask the good.
There are no new episodes of the three FBI shows tonight. That’s not surprising considering CBS warned us of the lengthy winter break as the three shows went off the air in December. That doesn’t stop us from wanting the new episodes already. These are highlights of our Tuesdays!
There are reruns of the FBI shows tonight
In some good news, we will still get FBI night. Rather than new episodes of the three shows, we’ll get reruns of them.
The rerun of FBI will see the arrival of the behavioral analyst Syd, who was set to come in as Scola’s permanent new partner. The series is now changing things up, but it has been fun seeing Scola work with someone on a permanent basis for a bit. Syd came to the New York Field Office for help when her sister was in trouble.
This will be followed by a rerun of FBI: International, which will take us to the episode where the Fly Team headed to the Netherlands after the U.S. ambassador was taken hostage at a TV news station. This was one of the first cases Wes worked on with the Fly Team, and he was still earning their respect after a bit of a rocky start in the season 4 premiere.
We end the night with a rerun of FBI: Most Wanted, which will see us jump back into the case where a federal judge is shot in his home, along with his wife. There’s a connection to a man on Death Row, but this man is hours away from execution.
When will the FBI shows return with new episodes?
There isn’t much longer left to wait for a new episode of each of the three shows. They will return on Tuesday, Jan. 28.
Things kick off with FBI at 8/7c. We’ll then get new episodes of FBI: International and FBI: Most Wanted. Nina and Scola get the personal storylines to bookend the night.
