The fight to save Found is still going on, and there’s one thing that I won’t budge on. This show deserves at least a final season to wrap up its storylines.
Back in May 2025, NBC delivered the devastating news that Found was canceled after two seasons. It came just ahead of the season finale, which ended with some major cliffhangers. Now we’re forever left with answers, unless there is success in finding a new home.

Peacock should have picked up Found for season 3
I hate that networks just cancel shows now. If NBC didn’t think it worked for the linear ratings, the series should have moved over to Peacock. Many people thought that the series was a Peacock Original anyway, which says that a lot of people were tuning into that platform.
It wouldn’t be the first time that Peacock saved a show, either. When Law & Order: Organized Crime was canceled by NBC after four seasons, it wasn’t even classed as a cancellation. It was just classed as the series was moving to a new home, as it landed a fifth season on Peacock. The same thing could have happened to Found.

Found season 3 deserves to happen
Look, maybe the linear ratings weren’t that strong, but can we look at the night and time this show aired? Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT are a struggle for all networks. NBC has consistently struggled with this timeslot, which was the one that Law & Order: Organized Crime had before it was canceled. ABC and CBS have also struggled with this timeslot.
People aren’t staying up late to watch the shows anymore. They want to watch on streaming the following day, and that’s something the networks need to start taking into account, rather than moving the shows to a timeslot for them to die in.
On top of that, we have a show that is inclusive, well-written, and speaks volumes about the world today. People go missing all the time, but we don’t hear about them. The ones that go missing and disappear into obscurity are usually the ones who are minorities. Found brought that to light, showcasing different types of minorities, whether due to the color of their skin, their sexuality, or their disabilities.
We also got to see how people react after traumatic events. Gabi, Dhan, Margaret, Lacey, Zeke, and Jamie all had their own coping mechanisms and feelings about their traumatic events. In fact, we were just getting started with some of them! We needed more time.
With the cliffhanger, we definitely needed a third season of the series. We need to know what happened to Sir, and we need to know how people will react now that Gabi has told the truth to the world. At least give us a final season to wrap up the storylines.
Found is available to stream on Peacock.
