Can you believe that CBS Premiere Week is finally here? Did anyone else feel like it wasn’t going to turn up? Well, in some great news, we’re here, and the FBI season 8 premiere is about to air.
This season is set to be a big one, as the show moves from a Tuesday to a Monday. It’s taking over NCIS’s timeslot, as it was supposed to be part of a two-show FBI night. However, CIA is no longer happening in the fall, so we’ll have to wait until the midseason for that.
However, there’s no way that CBS would hold back on new episodes of one of its top-rated dramas. There are a lot of questions for the FBI season 8 premiere to answer, and the biggest one is all about Isobel.

How to watch FBI season 8 live
There’s no way that you’ll want to skip the premiere episode. At the end of FBI season 7, Isobel collapsed after not getting medical help when she was in the middle of the blast. We have no idea if she will live or die, but we’ll get answers in the premiere episode. At least, that’s what we hope to see.
The episode will air on Monday, Oct. 13 at 9/8c on CBS. After that, episodes will air on Mondays in this timeslot. I remember the struggle of getting NCIS on Mondays in my head, so now I’m going to have the struggle of this one!
You can watch CBS via your regular cable company, but what if you’ve cut the cord? There are a few ways to watch CBS, including via Fubo TV and Sling TV. You can also tune in live via Paramount+.

Stream FBI the day after
Like with so many other CBS shows, FBI will stream the following day. You can still watch the show on Tuesdays if you want, as it will join Paramount+ around 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. PT each Tuesday after new episodes air on Mondays.
You can catch up on the series via this streaming platform as well. Now could be a good time to watch the finale of season 7 to get a reminder of how things ended.

What to expect in FBI season 8
While there is a lot of focus on Isobel, there are also some storylines to look forward to for other characters. One of those is Scola. While it looked like he finally got a permanent partner in season 7, that’s not seemingly the case after all. Law & Order: SVU’s Juliana Aidén Martinez will join the series as a new FBI agent and as a series regular.
Meanwhile, we’ll get to see Jubal in a new leadership role. This doesn’t mean Isobel is permanently out, but there needs to be a move up for Jubal while Isobel recovers, and that means more decisions for him to make while he’s in the position in a way he didn’t want.
FBI season 8 airs on Mondays at 9/8c on CBS.
