There’s no doubt that High Potential was one of the best new shows of the 2024–2025 TV season, and it’s one of the shows we’ve been most excited to see return in fall 2025. High Potential season 2 premieres on Tuesday, Sept. 16, and will then air each Tuesday.
You will not want to miss a beat of the new episodes. This season promises a lot of drama, as trust and loyalty are tested thanks to the Game Master, who was introduced at the end of the first season. The Game Master will test Morgan’s HPI, and she’s likely to find herself stressed as she works on protecting the new friends she has made.
On top of that, the Roman mystery may come to a close. Sort of. Karadec has found out where Roman is, but that leads to questions about why he stayed away and what he’s been up to for almost two decades.

High Potential season 2 release date and time
New episodes of High Potential season 2 will air on Tuesdays at 10/9c on ABC. This is at least for the first part of the TV season.
It holds the same timeslot as the start of season 1, airing new episodes straight after Dancing with the Stars. As the show premieres before many other broadcast shows on Tuesday, it could be a strong timeslot. The question is whether it can hold up against NBA and NCIS Tuesdays on NBC and CBS.
In January 2026, we may see the timeslot change. We’ll be sure to update if that happens.

Stream High Potential season 2 online
There are a few ways to watch ABC live online. You can use Fubo TV or Sling TV, making it easy to stream online. You can even go to the ABC website directly in a lot of cases.
What if you don’t want to watch live, though? The great thing about the Kaitlin Olsen series is that it streams on Hulu the following day. From 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. PT on Wednesdays, you’ll be able to check out new episodes on Hulu (and on Hulu with Disney+ if you have that bundle).

High Potential season 2 is longer than season 1
While there has been no official confirmed episode count as of writing this, we do know that High Potential season 2 will have more episodes than the 13-episode first season. We’re probably looking at around 16 to 18 episodes, which gives the show more time to develop other characters.
Daphne, Oz, and even Soto will get more development in the second season. It’s time to find out more about their personal lives and what makes them tick.
There’s also a new character to get used to. Steve Howey will join the series as Captain Jesse Wagner, who is described as a bit of an enigma. He is a “Morgan-esque” character, and while he likely doesn’t have HPI, he is likely very observant of situations.
High Potential airs on Tuesdays at 10/9c on ABC.
