While Found season 3 isn’t officially happening yet, it doesn’t stop us from looking at what could have been. After all, we’re hoping that the series will be saved by another network, and that means getting reminders of where our favorite characters ended up in Found season 2.
The second season was a huge one, as it all started with Dhan trying to keep the team together after Gabi shared her dark secret. Sir targeted Zeke and Margaret as he took Lacey, leading to Dhan doing everything he could to keep the focus on figuring out where Lacey was and how to take down Sir.
As the team came back together, mostly thanks to Lacey’s forgiveness of Gabi, we got to see Dhan focus on his connection to other members of the team. He’s okay as long as the other are okay, except for the very end, when he started to spiral as a face from his past turned up.
Dhan needs to face the trauma of his past in Found season 3
Throughout the first two seasons, there has been a lot of focus on Gabi, Lacey, and Margaret. Their traumas and their life experiences took the driving seat, as we watched how they handled the past and even almost gave into it.
Now it’s time to see more of Dhan and Zeke. We know that they were both held captive, but we know little else. Considering the way Found season 2’s finale brought a face from Dhan’s past back, it would suggest that the third season could focus on him a little more. After all, facing the man he blames for his captivity for three years would mean that those memories would come back up.
He hasn’t forgiven Mike, but he has started to open his heart a little bit. I’d love to see a sense of hope of him being able to move forward and deal with many of the triggers of the past, especially if it was with Ethan’s help as well.
Dhan will need to keep the team together in Found
Then there’s Dhan’s connection to the team. When Gabi is away, he and Margaret are the ones who seem to take over, and that will need to be the case in Found season 3. Gabi has turned herself in, and even with Sir saying that Gabi did nothing, it’s not in the hands of the Court of Public Perception. This is going to have a knock-on effect for M&A, as they struggle with haters.
Dhan will need to find a way to keep the team focused on cases, while also figuring out how to work the system and be a good temporary replacement for Gabi. Then there’s him dealing with his own feelings as Gabi blindsided them all with her admission to the public.
At least they are all in a much better place compared to the start of the second season. Plus, even Ethan understands Dhan’s connection to Gabi now.
