Accused Season 2 has a confirmed episode count with most titles revealed
As the fall season approaches, we’re getting ready for the return of our favorite shows. One show that took last year off is Accused, and we couldn’t be more excited than we are right now for the show’s return.
This is one of those shows that makes you think about your own bias. We go into each episode with minimal information. We don’t even know what the accused as done, and it leaves us making assumptions as the story plays out. There are quiet a few times where bias will take over, and you’re left realizing that you need to look at situations with a little more objectivity.
This is an anthology series, which means each episode tells a different story. We know the titles of most of the episodes. Here’s a look at what to expect in Accused Season 2.
Accused Season 2 is shorter than Season 1
In some bad news, the second season is going to be shorter than the first season. The series came out with 15 episodes to tell different stories. Sadly, we’re only getting eight episodes in Accused Season 2.
It’s not clear why we’re only getting eight, but it could be linked to FOX’s planned schedule. None of the scripted dramas were canceled last year, and yet two had to be added back in this year. It means that there isn’t the space for everything, so maybe there is only room for eight episodes.
It now makes sense why Murder in a Small Town was set to premiere a week ahead of Accused, and why it will still air a new episode the week of the Vice Presidential Debate. There are more episodes of the Canadian drama.
Accused Season 2 titles
TVLine has shared the titles of seven of the eight episodes, along with the cast members in those episodes. They are:
Lorraine’s Story starring Felicity Huffman and William H. Macy
April’s Story starring Taylor Schilling, Justin Chambers, and Danny Pino
Marcus’ Story starring Nick Cannon, Patrick J. Adams, and Jerrika Hinton
Margot’s Story starring Debra Winger, Christine Ebersole, and Mercedes Ruehl
Justin’s Story starring Michael Chiklis
Val’s Story starring Cobie Smulders, Vella Lovell, and Dina Shihabi
Eugene’s Story starring Ken Jeong
The final title will be directed by Michael Chiklis.
It’s not clear if that is the episode order, but we do know that “Lorraine’s Story” will be the premiere episode.
Accused Season 2 premieres on Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 8/7c on Fox.
