We’ve had two difficult and heart wrenching episodes of Chicago PD. Now the focus is moving from Ruzek to Atwater in Chicago PD Season 12, Episode 3.
The second episode of the season focused on figuring out who shot and killed Martel. Ruzek wouldn’t stop until he got to the bottom of the situation, and not just to get vengeance. He needed to save two children at the same time.
We also got an introduction into the character who will come into Intelligence. Kiara quickly proved herself as a capable and determine police officer. Before we see all that, we need to focus on someone else in Intelligence.
Atwater struggles for balance in Chicago PD Season 12, Episode 3
The promo for the new episode puts the focus on Atwater. He’s talking to a woman in a bar, who says that he puts a lot of effort into his job. He’s always saving people. Does he have time for himself?
We knew that Atwater was going to get the chance at a relationship in this season. It looks like this is the start of that, as he figures out how to get a balance between work and life. In the synopsis, it looks like he’s working with a forensic psychologist. Is that the women he’s speaking with in the bar? That would make sense considering how she sees Atwater for who he is and is able to ask him something that most people wouldn’t think about asking.
We have seen Atwater attempt to have a life of his own, but the need to help other people tends to get in the way. He needs someone who is willing to let him do his job when he needs to, listen to him when he needs to unwind, but also hold him accountable to getting the balance he so deserves.
Take a look at the promo and synopsis for the episode:
"Atwater struggles to find balance as he teams up with a forensic psychologist on an armed robbery case."
By the way, there are a few images out and take a look at this one. Burgess is back in Chicago PD Season 12, Episode 3.
