Chicago PD Season 12 release schedule: Don't miss a beat of the new season on NBC

Fall TV has started. Chicago PD was just the latest of shows to return, and there’s no doubt you immediately tuned on.

There was a lot going on in the most recent episode. If you haven’t had a chance to watch it yet, don’t worry; we’re not here to spoil it. Instead, we’ll just give you a reminder of the synopsis tease.

The new episode picked up a month after the events of the Season 11 finale. That meant Voight was still dealing with that brush with death, while Intelligence had to deal with the loss of another team member. Upton is out, and now there’s a new member on the team.

When will Chicago PD Season 12 air new episodes on NBC?

You will not want to miss a beat of the new episodes. We’re set to see how Kiana fits in with the team, and we’re ready to see a romance for Kevin Atwater. Then there is the hope for the Burgess and Ruzek wedding—and for them to beat the odds of everyone else and actually stay together!

 The episodes will air on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. The next episode will air on Wednesday, Oct. 2.

If you can’t watch the episodes live, NBC does make it easy to play catch up. You just need Peacock, with episodes being made available on Thursdays at 6 a.m. ET/3 a.m. PT.

When will the Chicago PD break take place?

Yes, there will be a break coming up. As usual, there will be a break around Thanksgiving. The show usually takes Thanksgiving week off and then returns for one week before going on its winter break. It’s not clear if that’s the plan for NBC this year.

It will mean an on-off schedule in the new year as usual. There are more weeks available compared to episodes. At least we know that Chicago PD Season 12 will have a full season order.
