4. Nancy Drew

How about a supernatural mystery series? This is great for those who are fans of the books but felt like there was something a little more ghostly about the stories. Nancy Drew from The CW brought that supernatural element to the story.

It all starts with Nancy and the Drew Crew trying to figure out whether Ryan Hudson killed his wife or not. After that, the Drew Crew have various mysteries to solve, including a body-stealing spirit, a mysterious ancestor, and a town that’s about to destroy itself.

Nancy Drew is available to stream on Max.

3. NCIS

If you have time for just a few episodes of a top crime drama, you’ll want to turn to a procedural. NCIS is great because each episode is standalone. Well, for the most part. You’ll be able to put on a 40-minute episode and then turn it off and get on with whatever you’re doing for the rest of the day.

This series reminds us that family isn’t all about blood. There is a chosen family as well, and that’s exactly what Gibbs has. Go back to some of the earlier episodes, especially as we get ready to say goodbye to Ducky.

NCIS is available to stream on Paramount+.
