Fall TV is back, but October is when a lot of our favorite shows return. There are some great crime dramas across the networks, including CBS, FOX, and NBC.

Not sure where to start? We’ve got you covered. Yes, there are some shows that will continue with new episodes throughout the month, including the great new crime dramedy High Potential. However, you want something that starts this month, and here are our top five offerings for October.

Accused

Let’s start with a series that helps you test your bias. Accused Season 2 premieres on Tuesday, Oct. 8, and it will bring back more cases where we have no idea what happened at first. We learn the story as each episode goes on, learning what the accused is supposed to have done and how the events actually played out. Nothing is ever as it seems.

Michael Chiklis returns in an episode and he directs another. There are a couple of other returning faces, but there are a lot of new faces for the individual episodes. This is an anthology series, and there are eight episodes in this season.

Accused premieres on Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 8/7c on FOX.

Found

The second season of another series arrives this month. It’s time to see the fallout now that Gabi has told the M&A team that she had Sir locked in her basement for so long. Sir is now out, and he has Lacey. Will everyone be able to work together long enough to get Lacey back?

We’re going to learn more about Sir in this season, and not just the story that we know with Gabi. It’s time to get into his past to see why he is the way he is.

Found Season 2 premieres on Thursday, Oct. 3 at 10/9c on NBC.

The Irrational - Season 1

The Irrational

If you want something a little lighter and more quirky, then you’ll want to turn to the second season of The Irrational. That series is back for its second season, and we’ll pick up with Alec and co. finding Rose. She was taken at the end of the first season, and we have no idea why or who by.

How will Alec react with Rose gone? This is interesting as he knows that people react rationally irrational, and he’s found himself acting that way in the past. Can the others help him through the emotions while Marisa searches for Rose?

The Irrational Season 2 premieres on Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 10/9c on NBC.

Forgive Us Our Trespasses
“Forgive Us Our Trespasses” – Danny and Baez team up with Danny’s old partner, Jackie Curatola (Jennifer Esposito), to find a copycat killer emulating murders from a previous case. Also, Frank and Mayor Chase (Dylan Walsh) battle over how best to handle the city’s rising homeless population; and Jamie, Eddie and Erin team up to build evidence against a previously released man who they believe is again committing criminal assault, on the 13th season finale of BLUE BLOODS, Friday, May 19

Blue Bloods

We do need to turn to CBS for shows, and one that we’re looking forward to returning is Blue Bloods. The downside is that it’s the start of the final eight episodes. The upside is that it has been written as the end.

This series needs absolutely no introduction. After 13 and a half seasons already, we know that everyone is tuning in.

Blue Bloods Season 14B premieres on Friday, Oct. 18 at 10/9c on CBS.

Magpie
“Magpie” – When an American family’s lavish sweet sixteen celebration is cut short after the mother of the birthday girl is found dead near their European estate, the Fly Team heads to Monaco to find the woman’s murderer. Meanwhile, Vo begins seeing Raines in a new light, on FBI: INTERNATIONAL, Tuesday, Feb. 27 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ Essential

FBI: International

All three FBI shows are back this month, but it’s FBI: International that we’re excited to see. This one sees a change to the team, as Luke Forrester is in the wind with his mom. The team went out to search for him when he went dark, only to realize that he doesn’t want to be found for a good reason.

The new season will see a new agent come in. It’s sure to shake things up. Not that the start of the third season didn’t do that with Kellett’s exit!

FBI: International Season 4 premieres on Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 9/8c on CBS.
